I have 22 years experience as an advanced practice nurse, area of specialization is Women's Health. Have worked the last 10 years providing insights into medical conditions, therapeutic options, and the healthcare practitioner/patient relationship to account services and creative teams in a medical advertising agency. Skills include education in a meaningful and understandable way to non-medical co-workers, gathering data/research articles/scientific insight for positioning and strategic thinking and writing highly technical pieces for pharmaceutical products. Have worked on several product launches as well as mature brands that need to look for new opportunities. Have worked in the therapeutic areas of dermatology, depression, hormone therapy, contraception, devices and medical durable goods, cosmetology, osteoporosis therapy, neurology, gerentology, urology, biological therapies, immunology and pain management.

 

Specialties: Have provided insight into the world physician and non-physician prescribers understanding their thought process and environment in which they work, including demands of governing agency, third party payors and professional organizations. Have developed and maintained relationships with the community based providers as well as thought leaders in several therapeutic categories. 

I greatly enjoyed collaborating with Brenda over the past 10+ years and quite honestly look forward to our next engagement.
